Artists say aye to 'Art for a Vision'

Artist Betsy Westendorp has rallied together established Filipino visual artists to raise funds to help visually impaired indigents. Some 3.4 million Filipinos are visually impaired, and 90% of people who suffer from blindness belong to poor communities, according to the Ophthalmological Foundation of the Philippines.

Seeing the light

A VISUAL Art exhibit featuring the works of local and international artists, Art for a Vision which will be staged at the SM Megamall from February 10 to 21 to raise funds for the Ophthalmological Foundation of the Philippines (OFPHIL), a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of blindness among the poor in the country.
